Asus launched new laptop : ultra slim T101

Asus launched ultra slim and portable notebooks recently.The main feature of the notebook is its weight,weighs only 1 KG and has a dimension 10.4 x 7.1 x 0.7. The T101 is the model name of the new Asus ultraslim notebook.The asus ultraslim T101 notebook is powered by 1.66GHz intel Atom processor.It can be run either on windows or linux platforms.

Other features of Asus T101 includes 10.2" display,64 Gb SSD,wifi 802.11b,Bluetooth,VGA webcam,4 in 1 card reader,3 USB Ports and a multitouch trackpad.The battery backup offered by the notebook is amazing.Asus said that T101 have a 5 hour battery backup.

T101 notebooks are available in 3 configurations.16GB SSD windows XP version is available for RS.33210, 32GB SSD Linux Version is for Rs.33,210 and 64GB SSD Linux Version is for Rs.37,963.

Hyundai launches new Watch Phone

Recently Phenom introduced a watch phone.Now Hyundai comes with the W-100,another watch phone to the market.W-100 is perfectly a hybrid of watch and cellphone.The features of Hyundai W-100 includes a 1.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth with A2DP support ,a 1.3 Megapixel camera and a microSD card slot.

Music and 3GP videos can be played on the Hyundai W-100 with the integrated media player.The price of the Hyndai watch phone is not available now.

A New Handheld Device

Datawind, a provider of wireless web access products and services, has unveiled a device called PocketSurfer2 for the Indian market. The company claims it to be the world's fastest handheld Internet device. The company is touting PocketSurfer2 as a 'first of its kind' device that can deliver the full power and original graphic intensity of the desktop web, rapidly and wirelessly. You've heard that PocketSurfer2 does this, and it does that as well, but what exactly is PocketSurfer2 ?

It's an ultra-thin, sleek mobile device measuring 152 x 75 x 15 mm (6 x 3.98 x 0.6-inch) and weighing 174 grams. The device allows users to browse the web in its original layout with full HTML, graphics, Java-Script, Ajax, Frames, and other complex web functionality on a 640 pixel full-color wide screen.

According to the company, PocketSurfer2 is an answer to the challenges users face in using other mobile devices, such as slow bandwidth, smaller screens, insufficient memory and processing power and high monthly expenses. PocketSurfer2 has been priced of Rs.11,990 (inclusive of taxes) for the Indian market. It is being distributed in India by HCL Infosystems.

Apple providing new applications in iphone

Apple has quietly started allowing Web browser applications in. This was a most shocking in the near past. Apple has introduced a small bunch of browser apps were recently let into the App Store. They include the free Edge Browser, the historyless Incognito ($1.99), the tabbed WebMate ($0.99), and something called Shaking Web ($1.99) that attempts to make Web sites easier to read.

The browser apps currently in the App Store all have some kind of quirk that sets them apart from standard browsers and that was the Safari browser which is preinstalled on the iPhone. Until now, Apple had not approved third-party browsers for the App Store.

It should be noted whether Apple will allow completely third party browsers like Firefox or Opera to operate upon their perstigious models like iphone.

Acer going to rule the indian markets

Acer releases the availability of Aspire One netbook in Indian market at a reasonable price.

The features of Aspire One net book are 8.9-inch LCD screen, up to 160 GB of HDD, Intel Atom processor, 1 GB RAM, built-in webcam, easy-to-use one Mail software application suite and battery life of up to 3 hours.

According to S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India, “With this new net book I have no doubt that we will make the dream getting onto the mobile computing bandwagon a reality for millions of our country men. People now have access to the best net book in the world at the most amazing price points.”

It supports Messenger for Instant Messaging with Microsoft Messenger, Skype and various other messaging services.

The Acer Aspire One is available in Brown, Pink & White, Sapphire Blue and Black. The net book is available at the cost price of Rs. 14,499 while the Aspire One, running on Windows XP Home operating system can be purchased at a retail price of Rs. 16,449.
